We went to the Kansas City Zoo and they were able to ride the SkyTram for the first time. Very cool to see the giraffes from up above. Season passes at the KC Zoo and at Schlitterbahn Waterpark are among the best family values if you are looking for fun things to do with kids/grandkids.
Another trip was to an Alpaca Farm run by two doctors that used to work with my wife Danielle on Mother/Baby at St. Luke's. After all, who would want to schlep around as an Obstetrician when you can raise exotic animals? They are able to supply the Alpaca needs of the typical American family with very little competition at this point.
